Phillip Parr

Hi! I am a web developer that uses a traditional set of HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, PHP, and MySQL to create efficient, valid, and accessible framework-free bespoke creations. You can hire my services through my main company website, WizPip.

Life story

I grew up in the 80s and 90s and developed a love for castles, LEGO, film, gaming, and programming – loves I still have now. My first computer was an Amstrad CPC 6128. The great thing about that computer was that the manual was an entire reference for the included Locomotive BASIC, which I started to learn in 1994.

I still actively pursue all of my childhood hobbies. I'm a member of English Heritage and the National Trust, I build LEGO models (which I hope to start putting on YouTube soon), I have quite a large Blu-ray collection, I have more Steam and Nintendo games in my library than I can feasibly play in the rest of my life, and of course – I'm a web developer.

The best developers I know started programming as a hobby. I'd like to think that this means I'm pretty good too.
